Tuition & Fees
Tuition is normally paid in twelve monthly payments. The first payment is non-refundable. Tuition is processed via the FACTS Tuition Management System.- The first payment is due on June 5, 2012.
- The second payment is due July 5, 2012 and consists of the Book and Activity Fee (see chart below).
- The third through twelfth payments are due on the 5th of the month beginning in August through May.
- A discount will be applied to any tuition paid in full by lump sum either upon acceptance or by June 30, 2012. Please check with the financial secretary for more information.
- An individualized payment plan will be made for anyone enrolling after July, 1, 2012.

Book and Activity Fee (per student) is due July 5, 2012 (Full-time students only). This fee covers:
- The use of the textbooks and curriculum, which TOCS owns.
- The cost of insurance for each child
- The cost of activities such as field trips
- The cost of achievement testing (PSAT or ERB)
- All art, music, drama and P.E. materials
- Membership in ACCS
- Teacher birthday gifts/teacher appreciation luncheons
- Protocol events (9-12)
- Graduation (12)
ESL Class Fee (per student): $800 (annual fee)
The non-refundable enrollment fee of $150 per child will be deducted from the First Payment in June.
All payments are paid through FACTS Tuition Management System. Payments will be withdrawn on the 5th of each month and will cover that month's tuition. If families must have payments withdrawn on the 10th or later, their payments will cover the following month's tuition.
Additional costs
- A non-refundable application and placement testing fee must be submitted with student application.
- Enrollment in the FACTS Tuition Management System.
- Cost of uniforms (daily, dress, and P.E.)
- Extracurricular and athletic club fees. (See appropriate registration forms.)
Extended Kindergarten and 8th Period
(This does not include music lessons, athletics, tutoring and other special activities.)
The purpose of the extended Kindergarten is to provide a service for those parents who would not be able to pick their children up in the middle of the day. We are not encouraging parents to keep their child here all day, but instead are providing a service for them.
The extended Kindergarten day begins at 12:10 and ends at 3:00 p.m. This program is only for those students enrolled in Tall Oaks Classical School Kindergarten. It is only offered for the days that the school is in session. The children will bring their own lunches or may participate in the weekly hot lunch program. The schedule for extended Kindergarten is structured to allow for rest, exercise and enrichment activities. The activities during this time are an augmentation to what is studied during that day's Kindergarten class.
We are pleased to offer the option of 8th period from 3:00 pm to 5:45 pm (1:00 pm to 5:45 pm on early-release Wednesday). During 8th period, students will have time for working on their homework and for recreation.

Please note that drop-in attendees will be charged the daily rate of $20 for extended Kindergarten or 8th period, $15 for early release Wednesdays, and $35 for Kindergarten and 8th period combined. This daily rate will be assessed for the first child in your family; each additional child will be charged half of the daily rate and will be due immediately for any unscheduled attendance, including late pick-ups (after 12:30 K, 3:30 K-12).A fee of $2 per minute will be assessed for each student not picked up by 6:00 pm.
